  • VV: How long have you been a TIR trainer?
Jane: I am just a new trainer but I have been using these methods for 6 years now.

  • VV: What inspired you to become a TIR trainer?
Jane: I love the results of TIR and feel so many others can benefit from doing it

  • VV: What do you find rewarding about it?
Most of the work I do with clients is trauma based [those suffering from PTSD often resulting from motor vehicle accidents] and that can be quickly and deeply resolved using TIR. TIR gets in to the issues quickly, and allows the client to confront and resolve the issues without a lot of further suffering. I love passing these skills on to others.

  • VV: Are you willing to travel to deliver training? If so under what conditions.
Jane: Yes, I will travel. Contact me to work out the details.

  • VV: Do you have a private practice?
Jane: Yes, I have a busy private practice which keeps me deeply involved in traumatic issues.

  • VV: Besides TIR, what other things are you interested in?
Jane: I work in all of the "Power Therapies" which include TIR, EMDR and both TFT and EFT. I feel a lot of excitement about my commitment to life-long learning. For other fun I do Brain gym, walk, fish, canoe and kayak, love to read and create good meals.

  • VV: Describe your professional background?
Jane: I was a Peace Corp volunteer in India as a young woman and that experience teaching English as a second language has sparked a lifelong interest in people and working with them in a collaborative way towards healing. I have worked in Government and that experience was excellent help to my training, but since I received my MSW, my real love has been in working in small clinics with a variety of professionals as a team. I have been in private practice for 30 years and have developed a lot of skills, all of which I bring to my clinical practice as well as my trainings. I am also a Certified Trauma Specialist.

  • VV: What other courses are you currently teaching ?
Jane: As I work mainly with PTSD I also teach The Neurobiology of Stress or Trauma Reactions and Dealing with your own Stress.
