  • VV: How long have you been a TIR trainer?
Madeleine: I delivered my first TIR workshop in 1993.

  • VV: What inspired you to become a TIR trainer?
Madeleine: A very long-term interest in contributing to improve the level of happiness and quality of life of fellow human beings. Having observed through my practice that TIR and other Metapsychology viewing techniques were an effective way to go in that direction, I naturally developed an enthusiastic will to share this with like-minded persons. Teaching TIR was the best way for me to provide available tools to those who needed them in order to help and be helped.

  • VV: What do you find rewarding about it?
Madeleine: Transmitting this knowledge is in itself a gratifying activity as it makes me feel useful.

  • VV: Are you willing to travel to deliver training? If so under what conditions.
Madeleine: I deliver training in Brussels, Paris, and other locations in French, if requested by a group.

  • VV: Do you have a private practice?
Madeleine: Yes. This year, I have decreased the volume somewhat in order to be more available to provide training workshops.

  • VV: Besides TIR, what other things are you interested in?
Madeleine: In the whole subject of Metapsychology, not just TIR. Besides this, I am very interested in Marshall Rosenberg's Non-Violent Communication. Personally, I am painter and artist.

  • VV: Describe your professional background?
Madeleine: I met Dr Sarge Gerbode in 1985 and started my own practice in 1989. I've also trained people in a study methodology developed by Raffaella Landais. In 1995, I began introducing TIR to Helping Professionals through a series of lectures presented in Brussels by Dr. Gerbode. Since then, I have delivered TIR workshops regularly in Brussels (in French), and given a great number of TIR and Life stress reduction sessions.

  • VV: What other courses are you currently teaching ?
Madeleine: Presently, I am teaching the Case Planning & Life Stress Reduction workshop.
