Experience:
1984 - present: I became affiliated with the Institute for Research in Metapsychology and hold
a professional membership with the Institute. I have studied with
Dr.Gerbode and employ metapsychology methods in my practice. Sixty
percent of my work with clients is trauma-related.
During these years I have rendered many thousands of hours of
professional service, primarily sessions with individuals but some hours
with couples and groups.
During this time I have been a presenter at the IRM's annual
conference (covering Metapsychology topics and also "False Memory
Syndrome") I have taught the TIR
four-day workshop. As well as training other facilitators to
professional standards, I have done extensive case planning for them,
and supervised their work.
1966 - 1984: After studying psychology at the University of
Michigan I pursued an extensive course of independent study and
apprenticed with counselors whose work I particularly respected. During
these years I worked as a counselor working with a great variety of
clients.
